Sep-27-2026: Version 4.7.0

• Version 4.6 is skipped so that the minor version matches that of phonopy. Phono3py requires phonopy 4.7.0 or later.
• In the tetrahedron method, when a sampling frequency was exactly equal to the frequency at a vertex of a tetrahedron, the tetrahedron gave zero weight. It now gives the weight that the frequencies close to the vertex frequency give. This mainly changes isotope scattering, whose sampling frequencies are the phonon frequencies at the grid point itself. For the usual sampling mesh densities, the thermal conductivity changes only slightly. The fix is in phonors.
• New option {ref}--symmetrize-tetrahedra <symmetrize_tetrahedra_option> (SYMMETRIZE_TETRAHEDRA). With it, the integration weights of the tetrahedron method are averaged over the 24 tetrahedra rotated by all the point-group operations, so that symmetrically equivalent q-points get equal weights. In the API, it is the symmetrize_tetrahedra parameter of Phono3py.init_phph_interaction, Phono3pyJointDos and Phono3pyIsotope. The default is off.
• New option {ref}--exclude-gamma-acoustic <exclude_gamma_acoustic_option> (EXCLUDE_GAMMA_ACOUSTIC), which sets the frequencies of the three acoustic modes at the Gamma point to zero. In the API, it is the exclude_gamma_acoustic parameter of Phono3py.init_phph_interaction, Phono3pyJointDos and Phono3pyIsotope. The default is off.
