I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford (Earth System Science) building open-source, physics-based + ML models that simulate floods and water quality at high resolution — including in data-scarce regions.
Right now I'm reconstructing two decades of floods across California and India and linking that exposure to millions of medical records — asking how floods affect human health.
I have a wide interest in hydrology and water resources, so please feel free to contact me to discuss ideas :)
| Model | What it does | Stack |
|---|---|---|
| HydroPol2D | Distributed 2D hydrologic–hydrodynamic + water-quality model; local-inertial flow, Green–Ampt, 2D Boussinesq GW, dam-break, snow, pollutant transport; CPU/GPU | MATLAB |
| HydroHP | 1D Saint-Venant solver for channel hydraulics, dam-break & flood-wave propagation | MATLAB |
| GRIDF | Gridded, bias-corrected IDF curves for Brazil (BR-DWGD/IMERG/CHIRPS) + Earth Engine app | Python |
| DRAIN-LID | Richards-based infiltration/drainage for permeable pavements, green roofs, bioretention | MATLAB |
| X-WHAT | Looped water-distribution network analysis & optimization | MATLAB/Excel |
