Before you begin, ensure:
- You use the Shopify Blog App or Magento 2 Blog by Magefan.
- You have the right to import a blog from WordPress to Magento or Shopify.
- You have access to the WordPress installation (admin panel or database access).
- You have the appropriate rights to export posts and media from WordPress.
- Download the archive of the latest WordPress Blog Export tool version.
- Unzip the acrhive on your computer.
- Double check if the unzipped file name it "magefan-blog-export". If it's not rename it to "magefan-blog-export".
- Upload the "magefan-blog-export" folder to your WordPress root directory (wordpress_root_directory/wp-content/plugins).
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel > navigate to Plugins > Activate Plugin.
- Navigate to Export to start the WordPress blog export to Magento or Shopify.
