I believe lz4-java is a good project that is being widely used as a base software component. It deserves the same level of stable and ongoing maintenance as similar projects, such as xerial/snappy-java@xerial and luben/zstd-jni@luben.
Since @odaira and @jpountz are not active in this project anymore, I hope that someone from the open-source community can continue the work, ensure the library’s compatibility with newer Java versions, and keep it up to date with bug fixes and improvements.
