Novel Fire Plugin - "Chapter is empty" error, requires multiple app restarts to load #2293
Have you tried opening in webview? And i think there is some work going on the novel fire extension rn, so you might have to wait.
Webview works fine. It's just not working on the app. Works fine during the day for me but does this evening onwards.
wow! i didnt notice this patern you said. i thought novelfire was fixed on its own, coz i tried to download durin day and it was fine. but i saw your comment and tried to download just now, indeed, its giving that empty chapter problem coz its evening. its not plugin problem btw. its the site thats auto redirecting to its new site "novelphoenix". you can try it. just open any novel in plugin, go to webview and refresh it like 2/3 times, novelfire will become novelphoenix. this problem is site side, you can only wait for new plugin novel phoenix and shift there
So we need to wait for novel phoenix to become official on the plugins?
yeah or you can just download all chapters at day. problem solved. here's phoenix pr #2367 . just gotta wait for dev to merge this to repo in a few days

Got it, thanks. Hope they do it ASAP!
yeah, i had to beg the dev a lot for a month to make this plugin. anyway what app ver you using btw?
At the time I made this bug listing, it was 2.0.3. I updated a couple of days ago.
so what ver now?
2.1.0
Is novel fire going to shut down and transfer to novel phoenix? I checked the later one on site and it feels the same to me. There are a lot of other issues with some other plugins and the app itself too but I really can't cater to 'em all.
who knows? they might shift or what else would the site owner Alex make a second alt site for. and yeah, latest app versions are way too buggy, thats why i stay in beta3 version, the most godly stable version, kinda laggy, but no bugs
Somethings on the new one got a lot better that's why I am running with it now. The stuff that's buggy is stuff you could ignore if you would like and I don't really care if I get to read so... Let's hope things turn out well and better updates keep churning.
One more thing I wanted to ask was should I close this bug listing if as you said it is something with the site itself or leave it be?

i wanna shift to new ver too, its much more smooth and a new special feature got my eye, the fast chapter download option, a must have feature for my use. anyway, can close this. just keep an eye for that pr, when it merges, just install phoenix and migrate whole library
