Non-Rigid Airship Reference

Technical reference material on non-rigid airship configuration and motion-control actuator concepts.

Scope

This repository focuses on non-rigid airships, including:

  • physical configuration
  • terminology
  • envelope, gondola, fins, and propulsor concepts
  • main propulsors
  • aft fins and control surfaces
  • thrust vectoring
  • differential thrust
  • auxiliary yaw thrust
  • baseline, optional, and vehicle-specific actuator assumptions

This repository does not define:

  • flight-control software behavior
  • mixer or control-allocation equations
  • controller design
  • simulation implementation
  • certification requirements
  • flight-test validation
  • product requirements
