The benchmark compares our Markdown against anydoc, and its parsers are the reference for the document-model architecture. scripts/benchmark.pycompares our Markdown against anydoc's, so the comparison is against a known revision rather than whatever npm resolves that dayNo build wiring — the submodule is a reference checkout, not a dependency. Nothing in Gradle reads it.
