Welcome to LeTG!

This repository is part of the Leborn initiative to revive popular but stalled open-source projects with AI-native enhancements.

Project status: Early stage

The repository was initialized on 2026-05-02 with a full mirror of upstream TurboGears. Modernization work begins now.

Roadmap (5 phases)

• Phase A: Setup and Analysis - Docker dev environment, codebase overview, dependency status, compatibility issues
• Phase B: Python 3.11+ compatibility
• Phase C: Modernize core dependencies
• Phase D: Tests and CI - Test coverage and GitHub Actions matrix
• Phase E: AI-native rebirth and v0.1.0 release - AI-assisted TurboGears -> FastAPI migration tool with automatic Pydantic model generation.

Estimated timeline

1 week (Claude Code-augmented development).
