Cassiopeia A gets a third dataset, Webb · near infrared 2025: the NIRCam mosaic of 2025 October 25 (JWST program 7934, public since 2026-10-26), on the same shell as the 2022 picture. No published picture of this mosaic exists, so its colors are fitted to ESA/Webb's 2022 picture of the same filters: red from F444W (R² 0.929), green from F356W (0.886), blue from F162M and F356W (0.890), read against program 1947's mosaics and applied to 7934's (script, README).
The depth table and the forward shock's outline are grown to 2025 by free expansion (
ejecta-speeds.mtsgains the bank's epoch).Limits: the colors are a fit, not ESA's processing; 8.5% of the picture is black where a 2025 mosaic has no data; the brightest stars keep their spikes. The six archive files (2.0 GB) are scratch inputs read by byte range, not mirrored.
Clean: color spelling, delivery, hashes, no-variables, TypeScript ownership, authoring typecheck, navigation ontology test. The page lists and draws the dataset on the dev site with no console errors.
