When toggling settings, the UI would briefly flicker because it waited for AsyncStorage to resolve before updating the cache. This PR changes setPreference to use queryClient.setQueryData for an optimistic update, making the toggle feel instantaneous. This also removes the TODO comment from SettingsScreen.tsx.
Passed npm run typecheck and npm run lint locally.
Tested on Android emulator: toggling settings no longer flickers.
