Superseded by #1067, which does this upgrade with the migration work it actually needs.


This PR bumps astro 6.4.7 → 7.1.6 + @astrojs/mdx + @astrojs/starlight, but stops there. Two things are missing that make the difference between a green build and a working site:


    

  1. @astrojs/markdown-remark is not added and markdown.processor is not set. Astro 7 renders Markdown with Sätteri by default, and Sätteri does not run remark plugins. src/integrations/beacon-transforms.mjs is a remark plugin that produces the whole Beacon design — check grids, step cards, pseudo-H4s feeding the TOC, bold-prefix asides — on every page. As proposed here it goes silent on all 304 pages while the build stays green.
    2. 

  2. sharp and starlight-image-zoom aren't bumped alongside, so the sharp high-severity alert (#54) stays open and starlight-image-zoom@0.14 sits below its starlight >=0.41 peer floor.
    3. 



#1067 covers the same version bumps plus both fixes, with the build A/B'd against a same-commit main build to prove the Beacon markers survive.
