Map generation duplicated the component segment in four target trees (generic-extractor/generic-extractor, common-interface/common-interface, component/component, generic-writer/generic-writer). No collision existed at the single-segment paths (native GE user page lives at /components/extractors/other/generic/), so the doubling was a bug, not collision avoidance. Executed by scripts/phase2-replace.mjs per the fixed PLACEMENT-MAP.md. Batch: 39 pages out of the temporary Developer Docs group into Components — /components/extractors/generic-extractor/** (index, configuration tree with api/pagination/authentication/config, tutorial tree, functions, incremental, map, publish, running). Nav: subtree moved under Components › Data Source Connectors, titled 'Generic Extractor Reference' to avoid clashing with the native user-facing 'Generic Extractor' entry (/components/extractors/other/ generic/) pending their future weave; 43 inbound-link files flipped; public assets mirrored to the new slug. Verified: build clean (423 pages, 232 redirect pages — +39 from old paths), audit 0 new broken links / 0 missing images (2 broken links + fence/table smells are pre-existing on untouched pages), old-path redirects spot-checked in dist. This sweep fixes batch-2 scope: - 98 hard-coded href='/extend/generic-extractor/…' targets in the embedded jQuery anchor-helpers of configuration/ and map/ now point at the topic path. - 2 bare no-trailing-slash markdown links ](/extend/generic-extractor) — no redirect exists for the slash-less form under trailingSlash:'always'. - Orphaned source images under src/content/docs/extend/generic-extractor/ removed (pages reference the mirrored /components/… public copies; 0 refs). - phase2-replace.mjs rewriter widened for future batches: bare no-slash links, anchored no-slash links, href='…'/href="…" forms, and http://localhost:4000 Jekyll artifacts. redirect_from lines match none of the patterns. …s (re-cut off main) Re-cut of phase-2 batch 2 (was #1031, stacked on #1027) as a standalone per-unit PR off main, per the 2026-07-27 pivot. Moves the 39 Generic Extractor reference pages to /components/extractors/generic-extractor/** — it is a component, documented with the other data source connectors (nav-titled "Generic Extractor Reference", next to the native /components/extractors/other/generic/ entry; they get woven together later). Old /extend/generic-extractor/* URLs keep working via redirect_from. Build clean (295 pp); audit 0 missing images, 0 links broken INTO these pages (no move breakage). Broken links are forward-refs to not-yet-migrated units (/extend/**, /overview/encryption/) — heal as those land. Supersedes the stacked #1031 (closed with the #1027 stack once the queue drains).
