Follow-up to #212

What changes did you make?

  • The user-bot's welcome DM now ends with a link straight to the signed-in user's Assign MFA device wizard: https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home#/security_credentials/mfa
  • New test/message.test.ts pins the message contents; the handler test also asserts the link. 54 tests
  • README updated to list the link

Why did you make the changes (we will use this info to test)?

  • So a new user goes from the DM to setting up MFA in one click instead of hunting through the account menu
  • The link was checked by hand on 2026-10-04 while signed in as ale210. It only works for someone already signed in: the route is in the # fragment, which the browser never sends to AWS, so it is lost on the way through sign-in. The message says "once signed in" for that reason
  • After merge, Deploy user-bot Lambda should run green. The next new user's DM will carry the link
