google-cloud-java is using project key googleapis_gapic-generator-java which is associated with this sonar project. This is currently linked with cloud-sdk-platform not google-cloud-java.
I went to the admin settings to try to update the repository binding, however google-cloud-java is not an available repository.
We shouldn't have a separate sdk-platform-java-sonar.yaml because the main one for the whole repo should collect all of the unit test coverage reports already.
I didn't realize that. We should just set it up for the entire repo unit test build. The project key is googleapis_google-cloud-java.
Scratch that for now. I'll first try to remap the old googleapis_gapic-generator-java project to this repo. I've updated the SONAR_TOKEN to one from the googleapis_gapic-generator-java project.

When I went to add it, I don't have access in the organization, only @meltsufin is listed as org admin. Mike can you please:

I created the google-cloud-java Sonar project and gave @ldetmer and @blakeli0 admin access. Do you have what you need to complete the setup now?

This is still failing in recent PRs.

I see an unrelated issue in the log that causing the failure.
blakeli0 commentedon Apr 16, 2026
Likely due to folder structure changes and caused this line to fail.
