Generate checksum entries from inside the release asset directory so GitHub-downloaded assets verify directly with sha256sum -c sha256sums.txt. Also documents the packaging fix in the release notes. Validation: make ci; go test -race ./...; YAML parse; downloaded-asset checksum and CLI smoke tests.
