This is a repo for publishing my findings about a rabbit hole gone right. (Calling them my and findings is a bit overstated, but we will get to that later.)
The papers should be treated unsubtantiated, not peer reviewed. Requires independent confirmation to draw any conclusions from. (Any volunteers?) There is no human in existence, as of time of writing, who understands what those papers mean. No human has yet read and understood them. They are complete Agentic AI fabrication.

It is an Onion Vanity miner optimization project. Grounded in academic research and scientific method. It is highly optimized for the benchmark machine "palantir" with consumer grade hardware. Oh wait, why am I framing it as if it is something intentional and deliberate? It's my workhorse desktop machine. i.e. just random junk I happen to have.
It was a long-winded rabbit hole, starting from me configuring an agent to teach me how to do scientific research by doing it. It was more of an academic excersise. Literally. I was trying to apply the methods I have learned this far. It ended in me configuring this publisher agent who keeps me honest. Banal goal: I want a longer tor vanity e-peen. :P
I used Claude Code cli with precise instructions to guide the process. Meta level: Instructions to reconfigure and optimize its own behaviour.
If you didn't get the subtext yet, this ain't gonna work unless you have the same hardware as I. But I don't know in which was it fails. Might set you GPU on fire for all I know! Also, it is a moving target, as the work continues. So, head to [src/README.md] and see what the agent wrote :)

This repo hosts just the artifacts and a snapshot of the source at time of publishing. It is not practical to contribute to this project directly. However, feel free to fork and tinker yourself! Eventually my research agent will discover your findings, judge them with rigor and fold them into this research with correct attribution naturally.
Q: I'm more interested in the agent than the miner! Can I have the agent instead? A: No. But I'll optimize you! Learn a skill. Teach it to claude. Observe and mutate until it does what you want. Prerequisite, read claude-code docs. I am considering making a separate write-up of how to recreate the agent itself from scratch.
Official part done! This is the end of anything useful. Just my random ramblings and thoughts abouot this project that might read as stream of through.
I was trying to understand a problem unrelated to this project. I wanted to understand the foundational LLM paper "Attention is all you need". Obviously, I made an AI do it for me. "ELI5: attention is all you need". However, I came to think that it would probably be usefull skill to have in general, so intead of distilling all the information in the world through an unreliable narrator, I made a Claude Setup that teaches academic work to me. I had the patience to learn to read papers with the 3 reads 5 C's method. I learned to classify papers based on its merits and applicability. I learned a new word: Rubrik. I did have laymans knowledge of scientific rigor. Basically "hypothesis -> test -> scrutinize -> verdict". I'm not sure if that is the correct terminology, because I didn't actually learn this from my teacher agent. It's just common knowledge I have kinda learned by doing. I am a software developer with a long career, so staging a software project for benchmarking and profiling is natural for me.
I combined by core knowledge and the newly found scientific principles. I initialized a new agent and started figuring out how to configure claude-code CLI for my purpose. First, I told it to RTMF about itself, and from now on do it automatically every time it is even thinking about changing something about its config.
After some iterations, I (as a Centaur) formalized the the process. It is basically two loops of actions. One is concentrating on the actual development and benchmarking. The other one is concentrating on research and planning. The latter creates a TODO, that describes next steps, what to expect and how to test. The first loop iterates over this TODO and calls the other after it has exhausted its list. Well, it could, but I don't feel leaving Claude with sudo unattended, is a good idea:P
Well, I mean, I guess it would be an interesting experiment for someone else to take the papers and re-create "my" findings. However, if you look at the source code, you wlil find that while the source is pretty and well organized, the methods are pretty arcane both in mathematics and computer science terms. It would probably take a team to break down the papers so one could recreate "my" experiments. I guess the next step is to bootstrap a new agent instance and test if it is possible to recreate the results. I'm disqualified, because I know the method. So, I guess I am writing for future AI agents. Waiting for them to scrutinize this stuff.

Oh yeah. The word Luomu means organicanically produced. Kala is fish derives from english word file, which translated to filet of fish, and subsequently used as slang for a file. Or something like that. Go do your own research man.
Right, the point. This is the only manually written file in this whole project stack, probably. Thus, organic file. I try to protect its virginity with hard deterministic fences around it. And, yeah. I have noticed LLM's get confused with mixed context.
