Are you using the water texture fix mod? (That allows custom water textures?)

Yeah, I mess with the contrast on the water to enhance highlights and make "sparkly" water.
(Check it with the default texture pack to sort of see what I was attempting.)

Frenden's theme doesn't have any highlights, so the water ends up very transparent.

Just something I didn't take in to account. I'll look in to it tonight.
