I'm a software engineer with a PhD in computer science and professional experience building protocol specifications, testing infrastructure, and developer tooling at the Ethereum Foundation.
Much of my recent work has focused on Ethereum's execution layer, particularly:
- ethereum/execution-specs - executable Python specifications and test-generation infrastructure for Ethereum's execution layer
- ethereum/execution-spec-tests - former standalone repository for execution-layer test generation, now archived and integrated into execution-specs
- Cross-client testing, debugging, and collaboration with Ethereum execution-client teams
- CI/CD, developer automation, performance improvements, and maintainability
Outside protocol engineering, I enjoy building practical backend and infrastructure software. I prefer systems that are simple, well-tested, observable, and reliable.
- Primary languages: Python, Go, Solidity
- Areas: Backend systems, protocol testing, developer tooling, distributed systems, CI/CD, and software security
I'm looking for a software engineering role involving backend systems, infrastructure, testing, developer productivity, protocol engineering, or software security.
