Eco Illini Supermileage designs, manufactures, and tests highly energy-efficient prototype vehicles.

Our multidisciplinary team gives students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real engineering challenges in areas including electronics, embedded systems, mechanical design, aerodynamics, composites, manufacturing, and vehicle testing.

We compete annually in the Shell Eco-marathon Americas, where teams pursue the highest possible efficiency in gasoline and battery-electric vehicles.
