Ran the 2D and 3D testbeds. They have some problems (MPM particles don't react to moving rigid bodies, the elastic cut examples don't seem to cut anything, and
elastic_cut3just crashes), but they were present onmaintoo; didn't notice any regressions. Did not measure performance, but I would not expect a meaningful difference.
