Summary

  • Fixed type mismatch in orchestrator_setup catalog filter
  • Changed selectattr('value.type', 'equalto', 'base_os') to 'baseos' to match catalog JSON schema
  • Resolves blocker preventing all orchestrator flows that require the catalog

Root Cause

The selectattr filter was looking for type='base_os' (with underscore), but the catalog JSON defines baseos groups with type='baseos' (no underscore). This caused _base_os_group to resolve to {} and the assertion to fail.

Test Plan

  • Verified catalog JSON uses type='baseos'
  • Confirmed no other occurrences of 'base_os' type filter in orchestrator
  • Ran orchestrator playbook and verified catalog extraction succeeds

Related Issue

Fixes #5398

The selectattr filter in orchestrator_setup was looking for
type='base_os' (with underscore), but the catalog JSON defines
baseos groups with type='baseos' (no underscore). This caused
_base_os_group to resolve to {} and the assertion to fail,
blocking all orchestrator flows that require the catalog.

Fixes: orchestrator_setup fails to extract base OS group from catalog
