Shortcut Key Manager expansion to 'insert date' and 'switch between tabs'?

Can the Shortcut Key Manager be expanded with the following:

• 'insert date and time' by using F5 for example
• 'switch between tabs' by pressing ctrl+page up and ctrl+page down, or alt+1, alt+2, etc.
  I think these would be useful features. Thank you,
