Add Ubuntu 26.04 support - #270

Conversation
Document Ubuntu 26.04 as a supported installation target and add it to the GitHub Actions matrix. Also include the resolute codename in Ubuntu-specific task conditions so the same installation steps run on Ubuntu 26.04 as on previous supported LTS releases.
HTTPS support is already built into apt on all currently supported Ubuntu and Debian versions. Use git instead of the legacy git-core package name.
