Gitway

A GitHub workspace in your terminal.

Gitway is a standalone, keyboard-first GitHub client built with TypeScript and OpenTUI. Inspired by the product workflows of Repolith, it is not a GitHub replacement and does not depend on Repolith services.

Status: architecture and documentation scaffold. GitHub integrations and interactive TUI are not yet implemented. See docs/IMPLEMENTATION-PLAN.md and PROMPT.md to build v0.1.0.

Quick start (foundation)

bun install
bun run dev
bun test
bun run typecheck

bun run dev currently prints a foundation message; it is intentionally not a functional GitHub client.

• GitHub OAuth Device Flow and optional existing gh credentials
• Repository discovery, details, and file tree
