Local Development

Prerequisites

• Ruby 2.7+ (check with ruby --version)
• Bundler (install with gem install bundler)

Clone the repository

SSH (recommended):

git clone git@mora-github.com:carlosmoradev/carlosmoradev.github.io.git
cd carlosmoradev.github.io

HTTPS:

git clone https://github.com/carlosmoradev/carlosmoradev.github.io.git
cd carlosmoradev.github.io

Install dependencies

bundle install --path vendor/bundle

Run local server

bundle exec jekyll serve --no-watch --host 0.0.0.0

Note: Using --no-watch to avoid inotify limits. You'll need to restart the server to see changes.

Alternative port (if 4000 is busy):

bundle exec jekyll serve --no-watch --host 0.0.0.0 --port 4001

Open http://localhost:4000 (or 4001) in your browser.

The site automatically deploys to GitHub Pages when you push to the main branch.
