Qwen Office can now be selected for an employee and run native tasks through the signed-in Windows client, including from a WSL control plane. Each turn owns a fresh Office session; public progress and final results return to RoleWeave, while native tool permissions, model choice and pending confirmations remain in Qwen Office.
The integration uses distinct private transport capabilities, bounded events/results, account and instance checks, exact owned-task cancellation, and a bounded cancellation drain before application exit. Known control tickets cannot enter public results. Native usage stays unknown when not reported; RoleWeave budget records are not Office token caps. The UI and guide describe the client's current account/organization authority and the protocol's lack of an initial-tenant CAS.
Codex readiness now tests the executable actually resolved by the runtime against the required CLI arguments and feature names. It retains the existing eight disable switches and read-only sandbox. This catches the older Node-installed CLI that rejected
view_imageeven when another installation worked.Validation: real Codex employee completion with GPT-6-Luna; real Office completion directly on Windows and through the Windows/WSL supervisor/private socket path; Codex, Office client/bridge/server/model/turn-route regressions; renderer and employee-settings tests; Windows unpacked package verification. See the two committed acceptance records. The unchanged example digest fixture depends on LF checkout; five existing platform-specific desktop tests fail on native Windows and remain covered by the POSIX CI suite.
Consolidation receipt: the owner requested that the recent agent changes be collected into one upgrade PR. All changes through head 2e49a7f, including the real Office employee completion record, are included in #593. That PR also preserves the compact employee settings from #591, adds engine-contract coverage, and prepares version 0.5.0. This duplicate PR is closed in favor of #593; its source branch remains available. No separate merge of this PR is needed.
