Ensure to copy "maxide_icon.png" next to maxide (binary) then when "deploying" a maxide build (eg creating releases/packages). |

On each start MaxIDE would (on linux) try to refresh/initially create a MaxIDE.desktop file next to the maxide binary.
Dropping such a Desktop file to your "task bar" (or into the menus) will look like this:
