By 06/22: Add product and tooling ideas for the Mining & Stacking Products Hackathon

[blockstackers]

So far, the following ideas have been shared:

Stacking

• Directory where STX hodlers can self identify and interact with developers
• Stacking social network (meet other hodlers, could be enabled by proof of stacking)
• Autostacker (automatically mine and stack more STX by forwarding BTC earnings into mining)
• Stacking wallet
• Kickstarter for Stacking products (Stackers request products from dev community)

Mining

• Mining bot
• Arbitrage bot
• PoX Interactive Diagram
• User friendly mining app

Please add any other ideas in the comments below BY JUNE 22ND.

You could have stacking aggregators, to pool STX from multiple people so that as a group they can meet the minimum required. The protocol supports delegation, but not how this gets organized.

Beautiful idea. Decentralized aggregators matched w/decentralized exchange capacities you’ve shown possible seem huge.
Will the first class support for delegation along w/ said aggregators be sufficient for navigating long term custodial centralization?

Validation Services

• A wallet feature that allows stackers to delegate STX tokens to a Blockstack validator from a native non-custodial wallet- pulldown menu of validators

• Delegating STX feature from hardware wallet (Ledger)

• Automated and instant Payout from validator wallet to delegators script based on earnings minus commission fee

• Dashboard to display validator metrics - number of clients, number of delegated tokens, total stacked tokens; percentage of network tokens stacked; self-bonded, commission fee; earning rate, total reward paid, uptime; etc.

Mining
-Bitcoin from miners sent to Blockstack blockchain via hardware wallet (Ledger)

Cooperation Tools

It seems the Balinese water temple cooperation example given in this paper should be applicable for long term chain state sustainability/resilience. Can tools be built that can incentivize cooperation? These cooperation tools & directories mentioned above, alongside the tools made to incentivize competition?
This may maximize potential for sustainable innovations in chain-state maintenance via competition incentives for chain maintenance built into PoX; while also protecting for long term concentration of power in successful competitors-- via cooperation approaches to PoX being able to offer resilience advantages to unpredictable network effects of competition/market incentives. Making good use of said stacking social media tools above.
Fingers crossed that this all follows btw? ha

@HaroldDavis3 @GinaAbrams please note that I've added Validation Services tools to the list. See above.
