Klamm is a Laravel/Filament web application developed for BC Gov SDPR, functioning as a "living" data dictionary with both a management console and an API interface. Its primary purpose is to address data inconsistency across numerous internal and external systems by providing a centralized metadata management tool to ensure clarity, consistency, and effective management of data used in new applications, particularly within system modernization initiatives. Currently, Klamm is vital for tracking metadata for forms, business rules, and legacy system metadata. Moving forward, it will play a crucial role in understanding, managing and validating metadata across multiple critical applications, serving as a comprehensive atlas for understanding and managing structured data.
