Summary

  • Install Wrangler so wrangler is available in the dev container.
  • When a Portunus project sets CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN, startup runs wrangler whoami and exits if Cloudflare rejects the token. CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID is optional and is passed through when that project sets it.
  • Move the image to Ubuntu 22.04 because current Wrangler needs glibc 2.35.

Test plan

  • dev with no project opens a shell and does not call Wrangler.
  • dev <project>/<stage> without CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN prints that Cloudflare auth was skipped.
  • A project with CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN prints the Wrangler account before the shell opens, and wrangler whoami works in that shell.
  • A rejected token exits before the shell opens.

The image moves to Ubuntu 22.04 so Wrangler can run, and startup checks the token from that Portunus project before opening a shell.
