Why
The disaster map only needs a single Leaflet instance and a small set of layers. React Leaflet added an extra abstraction and dependency without providing meaningful value here.
This change uses Leaflet directly, removes react-leaflet and @react-leaflet/core, and makes the dependency and licensing surface simpler.

Changes

  • Replaced React Leaflet components with direct Leaflet integration.
  • Preserved tiles, markers, popups, selection, zooming, and fit bounds.
  • Added the Leaflet BSD-2-Clause license notice.
  • Updated the use-case documentation.
