Welcome to my Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) Problem Solving repository! This repository contains my Java solutions to DSA problems and serves as a record of my learning, practice, and problem-solving journey.
The goal is to strengthen my programming fundamentals, develop logical thinking, and prepare for technical coding interviews.
The repository is organized into folders based on DSA concepts:
- Basics — Java programming fundamentals and basic problem solving
- Arrays — Array operations and problem-solving techniques
- Strings — String manipulation and related problems
- Linked Lists — Linked list concepts and operations
- Stacks — Stack data structure and its applications
- Sorting and Searching — Common sorting and searching algorithms
- Recursion — Recursive problem-solving techniques
- Backtracking — Exploring possible solutions using backtracking
- Matrix — Two-dimensional arrays and matrix problems
- OOPs — Object-oriented programming concepts in Java
- Language: Java
- Core Concepts: Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming
- Tools: Any Java-compatible IDE or code editor
- Improve problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Build a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Understand and implement common algorithms using Java.
- Practice writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Prepare for software engineering interviews and coding assessments.
Install a JDK on your system and verify the installation:
java -version
javac -versiongit clone https://github.com/amarprakash1234/Java-DSA-ProblemSolving.gitcd Java-DSA-ProblemSolvingNavigate to the folder containing the Java file, then run:
javac YourFileName.java
java YourFileNameReplace YourFileName with the actual Java filename and class name. If a program uses a package declaration, compile and run it according to that package structure.

I continuously practice and revisit DSA concepts to improve my coding skills. This repository will evolve as I solve more problems and explore additional algorithms and data structures.
This is primarily a personal learning repository. Suggestions, corrections, and constructive feedback are welcome.
