Once, we are happy with develop and we have only a few tweaks to make, here's how we get a new master version of the code:
> git flow release start rootana_vX > git flow release publish rootana_vX
Make the final touches to the code and make sure it all runs smoothly.
git flow feature finish rootana_vX
At this point you will be asked for a tag message. Say something like:
Version of rootana used for production run 2 on 5th August 2014
Finally, do the following two commands:
git push git push --tags
This last command is because the new tag won't have been automatically pushed to git hub.
