…ns closed The card said applications had closed and were under review, which does not answer the question applicants are actually asking. Four have written in the past week wanting the same three things: whether selection is still open, whether the timeline moved, and whether anything more is expected of them. Each got the same answer by mail. Putting it on the page costs one paragraph and removes the reason to ask: more than 150 applications, no September start, no firm notification date, nothing further needed from applicants, revised timetable published here when confirmed. Wording matches what has already gone to applicants individually, so someone comparing notes with another applicant finds the same status. The fellowship card currently says only that applications closed early and are under review. That is true and it does not answer what applicants are writing in to ask.
Four have asked in the past week, and all three of their questions are the same: is selection still open, has the timeline changed, is anything more expected of them. Each has been answered individually by mail with the same facts. This puts those facts on the page.
