What

Replaces the plain contact form emails with branded HTML templates that match the website.

Confirmation email (to the visitor)

  • Navy header with the Abstract Machines logo, a copy of their message, and a details table (topic, organisation, product).
  • Points to info@absmach.eu for follow-ups instead of asking them to reply to noreply@.
  • Footer with address, links to absmach.eu, the privacy policy and terms of service, and a do-not-reply notice.
  • Subject is now "We received your message | Abstract Machines".

Enquiry email (to the team)

  • Same header, with contact details, submission time (Paris time), the message, and a "Reply to {name}" button.
  • Minimal footer.
  • No longer includes the sender's IP address or user agent. Turnstile handles bot filtering, so there is no need to keep that personal data in the inbox. The IP is still passed to Siteverify.
  • Subject unchanged, so existing inbox filters keep working.

Both templates live in src/lib/contact-emails.js and share one layout. Plain-text versions are included for clients that do not render HTML.

Testing

  • pnpm check and pnpm build pass.
  • Rendered both templates with sample data and reviewed them in the browser.
