Windows desktop users can now preview and confirm whole-file stage/unstage, ordinary commits, local branch creation and branch switching. The native bridge protects receipts with Windows ACLs, replaces files within their directory and runs Git/hooks/signers in a bounded Windows Job. Built-in CRLF/text/eol conversion uses captured settings and the original index in isolated metadata, preserving ordinary Git add behavior for legacy CRLF content.
Validation: local type checks and 236 tests passed; macOS and Windows source checks passed on 91ffd93. Windows source tests include real repository writes, ACL/junction rejection, hook failure/timeout and actual process-crash recovery. The candidate EXE passed real NSIS installation, installed WebView2/Tauri viewing and all five writes, normal exit and uninstall (verification run). The preview wait in the verification script was adjusted from 5 to 30 seconds after observing the real window still preparing its preview.
Desktop version is 0.3.0. Installation and verification documentation describe the native desktop requirement and remaining Windows physical-device/signing boundaries. Final source checks for b9eb2a6 passed on both platforms (source run). Publication uses a fresh build of the merged release tag.
