Reproducible visual semantic assets for understanding, communication, and documentation.
This repository (wsf-visuals/) contains visual diagrams that explain WSF semantics. Per CR-WSF-17 Rev.1 §13-§14, diagrams MUST have machine-readable or reproducible source representations rather than only exported images.

Representation of foundational semantic structures.
Examples:
- The 14 Foundational Semantic Domains diagram
- The Disposition Realization Chain
- The 4 Forms of Relation
- The 9-Category Taxonomy
- The 12 Foundational Concepts and 9 Supporting Constructs
Relationships between concepts and semantic domains.
Examples:
- Concept relationship maps
- Domain interaction maps
- Tier 1 → Tier 2 → Tier 3 progression
- Cross-domain reference maps
WSF and downstream specialization relationships.
Examples:
- 8-Repository architecture
- 7-Capability Product architecture
- 3-Foundation WSF architecture
- WSF → ESS → EO → OpenDEA hierarchy
- WSF → Assessment-Models boundary
Entity, event, state, and transition behavior.
Examples:
- 8-stage Change Control Lifecycle
- 6-stage Semantic Status Model
- Order fulfillment state machine
- Capability lifecycle
- Concept lifecycle (Candidate → Normative → Retired)
Cause/effect and enabling relationships.
Examples:
- Disposition → Activity → Event → Change → State chain
- Foundational concept enabling relationships
- Investigation → Finding → Synthesis → ADR → CR → Implementation chain
Contrasting conventional approaches with WSF-enabled approaches.
Examples:
- Flat vocabulary vs WSF semantic patterns
- Inheritance-centric vs relationship-centric
- Single ontology vs 3-foundation architecture
- Without governance vs with WSF governance
Digital twins, simulations, enterprise architecture and agentic applications.
Examples:
- OTCHERE DC-01 Digital Twin
- Order Fulfillment Simulation
- Enterprise Architecture specialization
- Agentic system pattern
Per CR-WSF-17 Rev.1 §14:
Where possible, diagrams should have machine-readable or reproducible source representations rather than only exported images.
Preferred source formats:
- Mermaid (text-based, version-controllable)
- PlantUML (text-based)
- drawio / diagrams.net (XML-based)
- D2 (text-based)
Export formats (for documentation):
- SVG (preferred : scalable, version-controllable)
- PNG (for embedded documentation)
- PDF (for printable documentation)

Per CR-WSF-17 Rev.1 §14, this repository provides:
- Reusable Diagram Components (e.g., standard WSF logo, standard entity icons)
- Rendering Specifications
- Color Palettes
- Typography Standards
This repository is being established per CR-WSF-17 Rev.1. Initial visual assets will be authored under subsequent ADRs (ADR-WSF-26 ; WSF Visualization Architecture).
No visual assets have been authored yet.
- wsf/ : Canonical semantic assets
- wsf-governance/ : ADRs, CRs
- wsf-examples/ : Reference applications with diagrams
- wsf-docs/ : Conceptual documentation
Visual semantic assets with reproducible sources. The visualization architecture SHALL be established through subsequent ADRs.
