Hands-on SOC detection lab built on Apple Silicon (VMware Fusion, M2 MacBook).
The repository documents controlled attack simulations, evidence collection,
SIEM analysis, detection limitations, and incident-style reporting.

All exercises were performed in a controlled lab. Findings describe the lab evidence and should not be interpreted as production incident experience.

- All local VMs run ARM64 on Apple Silicon and require ARM-specific binaries such as Sysmon64a.exe and Windows 11 ARM ISO.
- In the NAT-based Incident 002 setup, Windows telemetry recorded the translated host IP rather than the Kali guest IP. This is documented as an attribution limitation.
- In the bridged Incident 003 setup, host-side capture attempts returned no VM-to-VM packets on the tested interfaces. The report records this as an environment-specific observation, not a universal VMware Fusion limitation.

- Azure lab resources are grouped in a dedicated resource group; network isolation controls are planned for later phases.
- No credentials, keys, tokens, or connection strings are stored in this repository.
