Tip For A Site

Gorgeous websites for small businesses — built first, tipped after.

Website Flow Built with OWL

What this is

Tip For A Site is an AI-native website studio experiment from Nicholas Hildebrandt / Manej.

We build real websites for real small businesses before they pay a cent. If the work helps, they tip. If they want more — AI intake, automations, booking flows, follow-up systems, SEO content, ad funnels — we turn the site into a growth system.

No bloated agency kickoff. No Wix-template purgatory. No “strategy phase” that somehow costs $4k.

Just a sharp site, shipped fast.

How the system works

  1. Client applies through the Tip For A Site form.
  2. Close CRM becomes source of truth for intake, status, delivery, and follow-up.
  3. OWL/Hermes qualifies build eligibility — only Form Completed leads with no existing build get auto-built.
  4. A unique design direction is selected from award/reference sources.
  5. A real site is built, QA’d, optimized, and deployed on Vercel.
  6. The client receives a claim page with their preview, optional Loom, and one included revision round.
  7. If they want to go deeper, we help add the business machinery behind the website.

Build standard

Every TFAS build aims higher than “nice for AI.”

  • Award/reference source required: Awwwards → Webby → Refero fallback
  • No duplicate primary reference, font pairing, palette, or motion concept across builds
  • Fresh _design/DESIGN.md per project
  • design.md lint must pass before final build
  • frontend-design quality pass before shipping
  • Client assets first; generated media only when it improves the final page
  • Mobile QA at 375px, 768px, and desktop
  • Image optimization before deploy

  • experiments, rebuilds, and internal tooling tied to the TFAS pipeline

Most client repos are private unless there’s a good reason for them to be public.
