Found while reviewing the wiki's FlashForge tutorial (TigerSystem-Docs#30), which mirrors Studio's own.
1. The Adventurer A5 tile shows an Adventurer 5M Pro
assets/img/tutorials/flashforge/models/a5.png is byte-identical to models/5mpro.png (both 7349bf13d763…). The tutorial's model picker therefore shows the 5M Pro picture twice, once labelled "Adventurer A5".
2. The tutorial and the form use different names for the same value
A FlashForge needs IP address + serial number + password, and the password is what the printer's own screen calls the Printer ID. Today:
| Where |
Says |
Tutorial step 3 (tutoFlashforgeAd5xStep3) |
"retrieve the Printer ID" |
Form field (printerHintFFGPassword) |
"Same password you use in FlashPrint." |
Form helper (printerHelperFFGBullets) |
"Find the IP and Serial in About → Network" |
| Tutorial steps 1–2 |
IP and serial are under Basic Info |
So the user follows the tutorial, comes back with a value called Printer ID, and faces a field called password whose hint points at FlashPrint — nothing tells them it is the same value. The helper also names a menu path the tutorial does not use.
Suggested fix: label or hint the field as Printer ID (e.g. "Printer ID — shown under Settings → Network Mode"), and align the helper with the tutorial's Basic Info / Network Mode paths.
3. Worth stating in the flow: the scan only needs the Printer ID
A printer found by the network scan needs just its Printer ID; the IP and serial come from the scan. Only a manual add needs all three. The wiki now says so:
