A user on Discord reported this: "The wiki and github says that Creality uses MIFARE Classic and that was true up till the spool free that uses MIFARE Ultralight NXP. The problem is that Creality doesn't even read their own tags. Spoolless Hyper PLA RFID doesn't work in the CFS or CFS lite."
This repo currently documents Creality spool tags as Mifare Classic 1K with an AES-128-ECB sector key -- see compatibility/creality.md and the chip column in the compatibility/README.md matrix.
To do:
- Look into this claim (get a first-hand test, or a pointer to where it was discussed) -- does the CFS / CFS Lite actually fail to read Creality's own spool-free tags, and did Creality move those tags to Mifare Ultralight NXP at some point?
- If confirmed, update compatibility/creality.md and the compatibility/README.md matrix to reflect the current chip type and this read limitation.
