Why

Release criterion 2 asks for the supported server versions to be stated, and older ones such as MySQL 8.0 and SQL Server 2019 tested or ruled out. Each Docker suite ran one release, and ClickHouse 25.8 left support in August.

Change

  • TABLEPRO_TEST_<ENGINE> picks the release a fixture starts. CI reruns each driver suite on PostgreSQL 14 and 18, MySQL 8.0 with MariaDB 10.11, MySQL 9.7 with MariaDB 12.3, SQL Server 2017, 2019 and 2025, and ClickHouse 26.3; ClickHouse's default is now 26.8.
  • The README lists the tested releases and why others are out.
  • ClickHouse 25.12+ refused making a column non-nullable without a DEFAULT; the plan now gives one.

Verified

Every release passes on CI, and locally all but SQL Server 2025 under Rosetta. Changed tests, for server behavior: a_removed_default_and_a_rename_and_an_added_column, disabled_against_require_secure_transport, innodb_trigger_into_myisam_rollback_warning_1196_partially_applied. The eight new jobs run in parallel, about 86 runner minutes.
