perf: read inventory holders without copying the block - #42
Main profiles, 20 hourly spark dumps 10-30 10:00 → 10-31 05:00 (peak 37 players). Inventory#getHolder() without an argument builds a full BlockState copy when the inventory belongs to a block (chest, barrel, double chest), and every plugin's click/open listener calls it again. Over the 20 h that cost ~200 s of main-thread time, mostly as short stalls on clicks in heavy containers; one click at 04:01 took 2.0 s. In BirdMessenger: GuiListener.onClick 3.6 s.
Change
9 calls in GuiListener, BirdMessenger and SendSessionManager → getHolder(false); click, drag, close and the session check each read the holder once.
For plugin menus the holder is the plugin's own object, so the result is identical. For real block inventories the code only type-checks or reads the holder, so the live state gives the same answer. Nothing players see changes.
Testing
All GUI tests pass; 16 estate-mail tests fail locally on Windows file access, as on main.
Dev (TFMCDev01, 10-31 from 11:47 UTC): this PR's jar ran together with the other 12 jars from this round (VF, SF, MusicalInstruments, Magic on the Blood Magic branch, TLibs, GunsAndGadgets, Thievery, BirdMessenger, Surgery, CompanionPets, ActivityTF, MarketBlock), through two restarts. No error from any of them in the log. Bot TestChar1:
A chest, a double chest and a barrel, each full of shulker boxes of written books: open, pick up and put back, shift-click both ways. Every plugin's click/open listener ran; the stacks stayed intact and nothing was logged.
/faction list (row click works), /referral and /activity menus opened and worked.
Every click, drag and close in any inventory ran the letter GUI checks,
and each plain getHolder() call copied the whole block state when the
inventory belonged to a chest or barrel. On Main the click listener alone
cost 3.6 s over 20 hours.
The GUI checks now use getHolder(false), which hands back the same holder
without the copy, and each handler reads the holder once. The letter and
picker GUIs have their own holders, so the result is the same object as
before. No call site changes a block state, so none were left as they were.
Tests stub getHolder(false) next to the existing getHolder() stubs.

Bug Fixes
Improved recognition of message and character-picker interfaces during interactions, helping existing session handling and inventory behaviour work consistently.
Tests
Updated coverage to verify inventory handling across message and character-picker interfaces.
Picker, listener, and session manager code now uses getHolder(false) to identify GUI inventory holders. Related test mocks now stub that overload.
The holder lookup changes are mergeable with a bounded test-coverage follow-up: picker tests currently allow the changed overload to be reverted unnoticed.

Assert the getHolder(false) overload in the picker-open test.
Both stubs in setup() return openHolder, and no assertion checks which overload runs. Reverting the lookup in openPicker (BirdMessenger.java:143) or in refreshPickerHeads (BirdMessenger.java:173) to getHolder() leaves the picker tests passing. The mock is a plain Mockito mock without strict stubbing, so an unused getHolder(false) stub does not fail either.
Add these checks to pickerOpensBeforeSkinRefreshFinishesAndUpdatesAfterwards. That test runs both openPicker and the refresh callback:
Add never and atLeastOnce to the Mockito static imports if they are not already present. A plain verify(top).getHolder(false) fails in this test. getHolder(false) runs once in openPicker and again in refreshPickerHeads, so the default call count of one does not match.

only still-valid issues, skip the rest with a brief reason, keep changes
minimal, and validate.

Update `pickerOpensBeforeSkinRefreshFinishesAndUpdatesAfterwards` to verify that
the top inventory never calls `getHolder()` and calls `getHolder(false)` at
least once, covering both `openPicker` and the refresh callback. Add the
required Mockito static imports if they are missing.

Both stubs answered the same holder, so reverting openPicker or
refreshPickerHeads to getHolder() kept the test passing. It now verifies
getHolder(false) runs and getHolder() never does (CodeRabbit).
