Release metadata for 1.2.8 covering the merged review PRs #42–#48: changelog section,
docs/releases/1.2.8.mdupgrade notes (new payload fingerprint, request-metadata boundary, once-per-request process sampling,production.env-dir-readonly) and the standalone CLI version.tools/check-docs.py,composer cs,composer static-analysisand the full PHPUnit suite were run on mergedmainplus these files in a PHP 8.5.12 container; the only failures are the six container-specific cases (missing ext-ftp and POSIX user) that fail identically onmainthere. CI provides the authoritative integration, platform and package runs.
