The Hermes 0.21 installer only accepts a full 40-hex commit SHA for --ref, so --ref v0.3.0 fails. The agent instructions now resolve refs/tags/v0.3.0 via ls-remote and validate the SHA before installing. Verified locally: resolves to e477cce.
