Remarks
I have been hard at work fixing lots of the remaining bugs and issues in the cryptid codebase, alongside adding some general polish to places where I felt it was needed. Wether there's going to be another release or not will probably depend on if I feel the need to make any more changes and if there are significant enough changes to warrant another release. and stay jolly or something, i think thats what they say. i havent really written a proper release before so im kind of just winging it to be honest
Non-Pull Request fixes
- ://DELETE will no longer crash when deleting a card from the shop joker area if ://DELETE is negative or Joker Slots are full.
- Refactored Quantum Computing to automatically apply to all Code cards; No longer needs to be handed manually in
set_ability - Code cards that start with multiuse now handle this with
configrather thanset_ability. - Refactored Oil Lamp and Gemini's compatibility message code.
- ://ASSEMBLE now uses
SMODS.upgrade_poker_hands, giving it a proper animation. - Easier Antimatter Deck cross-mod compatibility with
cry_antimatter_apply,cry_antimatter_calculate,cry_antimatter_vouchersandcry_antimatter_consumablesin an SMODS.Back definition. - Fixed Exploit being infinitely reusable.
- Overhauled Multiuse consumable code.
- Enhancement, Seal and Edition deck now apply their selected effect when applied via Antimatter Deck.
- Enhancement, Seal, Edition and Suit decks now use the selected property's colour in the description if it has one.
- Suit deck banning blinds that debuff the selected suit is no longer hardcoded to vanilla blinds.
- All scaling jokers have been updated to use
SMODS.scale_card. - All jokers have been updated to not use legacy return values.
- Membership Card's member count will no longer update every 5 seconds during runtime; instead it is gotten once at launch and can be updated during runtime via a button in the mod config.
- Remove Double Sided edition. It had a good run, but this decision unfortunately had to be made due to the immense amount of buggy behaviour caused by it. All code the edition and associated jokers used is still present in some way, but is either commented out or will not be loaded
- Fragile edition now forces the affected card to do a shattering animation when destroyed, like glass cards
- Replace all find_joker checks with
SMODS.find_cardchecks - Update Glass Stake, Jade Stake, Horizon Stake and Sapphire Stake code
- Update Glass Stake and Jade Stake descriptions to include the odds of shattering/flipping
- All gradients have been converted to SMODS.Gradient
- Cards that have been banished in the current run will now have a debuff overlay and a tooltip when hovered in the collection

Well, as you may have heard here this will likely be the last Cryptid release for a good while until v2.0 is ready for the public eye. I would like everyone to know that the development is going very smoothly so far and that I hope to have more things to show off soon.
