Summary
maestro-runnerBrowserStack Appium executor without changing the shared Maestro journeysE2E_BROWSERSTACK_EXECUTOR=maestro-runnerReal-device A/B result
Both paths ran the same four journeys on all four targets at commit
79e3388d0. Times are the Bitrise execution-workflow wall clock, including upload, provider startup, execution, result normalization, and artifact deployment.Verdict: the speed result is mixed and the prototype is not reliable enough to replace hosted Maestro. Hosted Maestro passed all 16 journeys; Appium completed no full target suite. Appium failures cluster around hosted checkout field input/discovery, scrolling, React Native Android deep-link bootstrap, and physical-iOS state semantics.
