Summary

  • reorder and refine the README for a research-software release
  • replace the unverified conference-publication wording with the verified arXiv title, DOI, and venue
  • expand scheduler, environment, reproduction, testing, citation, and limitation guidance
  • align CITATION.cff, paper/README.md, and pyproject.toml with the verified record

Why

The repository-local manuscript uses a conference-formatted header, but the official INFOTEH-JAHORINA 2026 proceedings do not list AutoSAGE. The verified citable record is arXiv:2511.17594, so the repository metadata needed to distinguish the local manuscript from the public preprint and avoid an unsupported conference-publication claim.

User impact

Readers now get an accurate paper title and DOI, a clearer quick start and scheduler reference, explicit scope limitations, reproducibility instructions, and copy-ready citation metadata.

Validation

  • pytest: 14 passed, 7 CUDA tests skipped on CPU-only PyTorch
  • ruff check autosage scripts tests
  • ruff format --check autosage scripts tests
  • cffconvert --validate
  • wheel build completed successfully
  • all 35 SHA-256 artifact entries verified
  • all local Markdown links resolved
  • Bash scripts passed syntax checks
