The opening read like a spec abstract and never told a reader what Verity is or why they'd care. Now it leads with the problem in plain language: what it is, the concrete leak story, the fix, source-ACL inheritance, and an honest single-user off-ramp. Em-dash-free.

The opening was a spec abstract (shared context plane, bi-temporal memory
store via CDC/webhooks, Zanzibar-style permission graph compiling caller
scope) that never told a reader what Verity is or why they'd care. Rewrote it
to lead with the problem in plain language, the way the launch posts do: what
it is, the concrete leak story, the fix (permission check in the query, not
the model), source-ACL inheritance, and an honest 'if you're single-user, use
mem0/Zep/Letta instead.' No em-dashes.
