A custom Android launcher styled after a KDE Plasma / Debian desktop: vertical taskbar (Kickoff-style menu button, pinned apps, system status, clock), a desktop with drag & drop icons and snap-to-grid, a categorized app drawer, and a full settings panel (wallpaper, accent color, font, taskbar icon).
Built with Flutter.
- Vertical taskbar (dock) — pin, unpin, and reorder apps by drag & drop
- Desktop with freely placed, drag & drop icons (snap-to-grid) and an optional floating clock widget
- App drawer grouped by category (editable per-app), live search, hide/uninstall from a context menu
- Notification badges on pinned/desktop icons, with a real notification panel (dismiss individually or clear all)
- Status bar: battery, wifi/cellular signal + carrier/network type, fullscreen mode (hides the system status bar)
- Native screen lock (Device Admin), custom wallpaper/taskbar icon, accent color and font pickers
This project started as a fork of jspw/Ubuntu-Launcher (GPL-3.0), whose original release build didn't run on Android 11+ due to a build/signing issue. It was rebuilt on a modern Flutter/Gradle/AGP toolchain and has since diverged substantially — new UI, new features, most of the original code replaced. Published as a separate, standalone project rather than a GitHub fork given how much has changed, but the lineage and license are credited here as required.
GPL-3.0, same as upstream. See LICENSE.
